Marking its first public-art presentation in the United States, Bvlgari, the renowned Italian jewelry and accessories house, unveiled “auruBOROS—Urban Memory and Collective Dream” on the High Line during New York Fashion Week.

The thirty-three-foot pneumatic sculpture is the latest installation in the Serpenti Infinito global series, created to celebrate the 75th anniversary of Bvlgari’s iconic Serpenti collection. Serpenti Infinito has brought bespoke presentations around the world, from Shanghai in 2025 where it also celebrated the year of the snake, to Seoul and Mumbai.

The mirrored gold structure spirals in a mesmerizing tangle, and visitors can walk among the coils, tracing their intertwined path. Conceived by Berlin-based artists Marco Canevacci and Yena Young of Plastique Fantastique, “auruBOROS—Urban Memory and Collective Dream” takes its name from the Ouroboros, the ancient image of a serpent consuming its own tail—a symbol of transformation, renewal, and perpetual evolution. Its golden coiling forms “invite us to embrace change as a source of beauty, innovation and inspiration,” as noted by Laura Burdese, CEO of Bvlgari.

Consider this your sign to catch a glimpse of the sculpture before it slithers away, as Serpenti departs the High Line on September 20, 2026.
